Governor Earle to Tour State Institutions and More

Severe snow storm cripples area traffic as Governor Earle plans a tour of state institutions and considers other problems. Lieutenant Arthur Gillett of the Pennsylvania National Guard, 40, dies after his automobile is struck at a grade crossing near Kane. He was fatally injured when his car stalled on the tracks and was struck by a Pennsylvanian train at the Hermit Street crossing. Gillott, a foreman at Kane Manufacturing, died after being transported to Kane Hospital. He leaves a wife and two children.

Severe winter storms trigger fatal crashes across Pennsylvania

A regional blizzard paralyzed northwestern Pennsylvania with sixty nine inches of snow and ice. Dozens of vehicles including two Greyhound buses, cars, and a truck were stranded on Route 6 and near Union City and Breed Hill. An inquest is set for tonight into the death of Lawrence Dillinger Dillinger 19 son of Mr and Mrs Roy C Dillinger of Titusville Ohio who died after a car skidded at the Main and Second street intersection in Titusville. In Syracuse a blinding snowstorm caused a fatal plane crash killing Prisca Murphy, 16, of Boston, an amateur pilot, and Henry Nadeau, 45, of Nashua New Hampshire whose mother is critically ill in Ips International Falls Minnesota. Mad Man Wipes Out Population Of Community

In Tibland, Alberta, Nov 16 a feud left multiple dead including Cael Shells and Carl Nelson. Shells killed Nelson and others before killing himself. a son and three others also died.
