A 21 year old miner, frightened, is jailed in Indiana county pending investigation into the death of Theodore Burise an 88 year old unemployed miner. A car struck a group of twenty miners and Burise was carried more than 78 feet after leaving a United Mine Workers meeting in Alverda last night. The suspect John Mariskanish of Hellwood was with his father and eight year old brother.
Uttle Betty Jean Graham, three tontin't daughter of Mr and Mrs Kenneth Graham of 820 West Main, died at Corry Hod-Pilal at 12:65 this afternoon after four days illness. She had been a hospital patient since last evening at six. Survived by parents two sisters and three brothers Noma Alice Walter Hubert and Robert at home. Funeral announcements to be made later.
