Multiple divorces granted yesterday in county court cited cruelty as grounds. Other items include Delos Ry divorce from Rose Ayers, farm product ads, a missing person found after 12 hours in the Orne Run forest, and various local incidents and notices from Erie and Warren counties.
The Brentwood district in Pittsburgh suburb was rocked by three explosions when a heavy chemical laden trailer truck blew up on Saw Mill Run Boulevard. Owner Robert Randolph of Clairton was thrown from the cab but unhurt. Firemen battled chemical flames as witnesses watched. Randolph says he filled the tank minutes before. Loss estimated at 11000. A separate line notes foreign investments in WWI rose about five billion dollars.
Warren Pa November 13 thirty two pupils on a Warren area school bus enroute to Clarendon escaped Wednesday when the bus and two autos collided on Route G five miles east of Warren. Florence Green 25 of Clarendon drove one auto that sideswiped the bus. The bus driver Arnold Williams 35 of Clarendon swerved and struck a parked car owned by Reece Bickerton Library Pa. One woman hurt minor. no children injured. Damages estimated at 1200 dollars.
Jamestown reports Donald Lucas 2 was overcome by fumes while cleaning a mixing tank at James Town Finishing Products yesterday. Workers used a resuscitator for 10 minutes before ambulance transport to W. C. A. Hospital where he remained under care with good prospects of recovery.
