Won't Be Prosecuted Son Allows Mother To Die
The director of Public Prosecutions decided not to prosecute Robert Sinden after he found his 76 year old mother Phyllis Sinden unconscious and later died from an overdose of aspirin. Sinden said he walked away believing his mother did not want to be revived. The inquest in Croydon heard her had taken 100 aspirin tablets and whisky. The coroner stated such views cannot exist in society.
