Wayward minor case and local bonds in county court
In Janestown Miss Eleanor Platt 18 pleaded innocent in City Court yesterday to a charge of being a wayward minor and is held on a $100 bond awaiting trial. The warrant was claimed issued by her parents alleging noncompliance with requests. In Titusville Ernest Adams 61 of Centerville was held for Crawford County court on a surety of the peace charge after pleading guilty at arraignment and posting a $500 cash bond. Mrs Mary Hill who rents from Adams alleged threats. Connie’s Superette ads baked goods and Sunday specials.

Charges filed in Beaver County infant death case
District Attorney Richard P. Steward announced voluntary manslaughter charges against a Marietta College football player and a 19 year old girl in the death of a newborn baby. The baby boy was found along a rural road near Beaver after birth on a Saturday night. autopsy confirmed birth alive.
