Snyder, 76, of 18 School Street, Olean, was fatally struck by a hit and run driver in front of the Olean House on Union Street at 5:30 AM Sunday while en route to Mass at St Mary of the Angels. He died from head injuries after being taken to Mountain Clinic. Survived by one son, Joseph. An original Holy Name Society member who planned to receive communion and had gone to confession the day before.
