The Warren National Bank presents a plan to boost savings by offering 4 percent interest and new facilities. It promises improved safety and convenience, with extended payment terms and advantages for depositors, aimed at protecting and growing funds.
Parishioners prepare for the installation of the new rector and Rev Dr Perry Archdeacon of Melville at Emmanuel Church on Tuesday November 14 a church reception follows with neighboring clergy invited and parishioners gathering for the ceremony and celebration.

A serious accident occurred at the Comer street crossing of the Erie railroad when a six year old boy, Dan Lusey, fell beneath a passing freight train. He suffered a crushed right arm and other injuries, was taken to Corry Hospital, and his arm was amputated at the shoulder. He is resting but in pain. witnesses and rescuers aided him, and the incident is considered nearly miraculous to have avoided instant death.
Frank Qwor, living on North Cory and employed at the Corry Water Supply, was bitten and injured when a horse kicked him. He received medical attention at St. Kihler office and was later able to return to work, though the injury remains painful. The incident occurred around ten o'clock during a routine handling of the horse. He is reported to be in serious but improving condition at the local facility.
A weeks long suffering ended for a three year old girl from three miles south of Corry after severe burns in her kitchen. She developed spinal meningitis and died at Corry Hospital. Her parents were away from home during the incident.
Walter Pettengill of the Corry and Colimins Street Railway was badly hurled while wrestling with a co worker as the car neared North Corry station. He slipped and struck the point of his right elbow, causing a fracture. He was treated by Dr Ben Heft who reduced the fracture and will be unable to work for about two weeks.
Hinborea Pa Nov 10 A BF Mosler aged about 65 years who worked for Verne Billings at his mine and lived with Mrs Billings committed suicide. Despondent for a long time, he did not come to breakfast this morning. Mrs Mosler found the room opened and him dead with a razor nearby.

In Northwood on November 11 the testimony described a girl who had tried six times since 1900 to borrow her parents. Marion Rodenbaugh testified at the trial of her sister, Maritta Larsen, accused of following her father. The attempts were made at the rest home and were said to be due to fear and mention of her sister.
