Philip Bruno, condemned for first degree murder in the 1924 slaying of five revelers at a Democratic parade on election eve at Kelayres, will ask the State Pardon Board for clemency at its November 14 15 session. The board previously denied a July 1943 clemency petition and considered Joseph J Bruno’s life plea in the same case.
