Fatal Cyclist Crash Stuns City First Since 1964

James A. Ross 35 of 543 Sciota Street died after a car struck him while he rode a bicycle on East Columbus Avenue at 6 p m Saturday. Douglas Mather 16 of 625 South Center Street drove away then returned. Ross's death is the citys first fatality since April 19 1964. Ross worked at Stroup Service Station and Erie Railroad before. He is survived by his mother two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services scheduled for tomorrow.

Two Teens Arrested for Gas Siphoning in City Alley
