Floyd Holzapfel, 36, a former convict, sobbed in court as he admitted receiving $2,000 from municipal Judge Joseph A. Peel Jr. to kidnap and drown Judge B. Chillingsworth in Palm Beach. He described luring the judge to the Chillingworth home, seizing him, weighting him, and loading him on a boat to dump at sea. A Sparta family of six lost their home in a blaze caused by a wood stove or chimney. Mr and Mrs Morris and their four children Candy Robin Toni and Kenneth were left homeless as 24 volunteers from the Salvation Army Red Cross and local agencies moved to provide food clothing and furniture. The fire on Route 89 near Spartansburg started just before 8 pm yesterday and destroyed the one story house with an estimated loss of 5000 including contents and a trailer. The family planned a conference today with Salvation Army and Red Cross officials to arrange support.
