An accident at a Chester Ohio factory today killed the superintendent. A 250 pound wheel dropped from a stationary apparatus and struck him as he supervised operations. Witnesses described workers rushing to aid him as officials investigated the cause of the mishap.
German and Austrian forces tighten control of the rail corridor through Serbia as they prepare a defense ahead of major operations. Heavy attacks are expected from Serbian forces. Allied reinforcements move toward the region.
Citizens on special committees gathered to ensure Vila enterprise progress.
