Ohio voters favor Wilson over Taft by an estimated 115000 plurality as Taft and Roosevelt trail. Cox is elected governor. Democratic landslide expands in state offices and congressional seats. Longworth wins reelection by about 1000 amid Democratic dominance across 21 districts.
California results show a Wilson plurality near 12 000 with 1 200 precincts outstanding mostly in the north. Roosevelt carries Southern California with large margins and San Francisco backs Wilson by 10 279 while city voters rebuke Hiram Johnson over his school disfranchisement stance and reform banner.
Early returns show Roosevelt carrying Michigan by about 26 000 votes and Berraella winning governor for the Democrats in Michigan Wayne county suspicions on woman suffrage. Connecticut Democrats win with Balding governor and 10 85 plurality. Massachusetts surprised with a Democratic win of the electoral votes for the first time in years.
Early returns from Des Moines show Woodrow Wilson ahead by about 10 704 in seven of the four count district with county totals incomplete. Results hint at a Republican gain in the legislature and a likely victory for George W Clarke in a nearby race with figures still unofficial and incomplete.
