High Speed Crash Near Ripley Claims One Life
A Route 5 crash at Ripley last night killed Conneaut man Wayne A. Salsbury, 28, and wounded five Erie youths. Freeman, Jaworoski, Gustafson, Rudenski, and Boyer were treated for injuries at local hospitals. Alcorn was uninjured. The crash occurred at 11:15 p.m. when Salsbury lost control and collided with Freeman’s northbound car.
