Mrs. Albertina Johnson 84 of East Kane died at Kane Summit hospital after being struck by a truck driven by Joseph Houlick Jr of James City near her home. She stepped into the road opposite the Fredell store while walking to a store, driver braked but swerved on slippery pavement. Coroner W D Allen to investigate. inquest not yet decided.
