Lillian Guild Meets for Tureen Supper and Cooperation
The Lillian Guild will meet Tuesday night at Mrs James MacInnes home. A tureen supper will be served at 6 oclock. For the past year cooperation has strengthened ties between the Torry Red Cross Chapter and the Needlework Guild. The plan maintains garments in the Red Cross heat quarters and ensures only deserving recipients receive aid. If garments are lacking, efforts are made to obtain them from outside sources, with many donated items from supporters. The Red Cross and Needlework Guild arrangement prevents double assistance to the same recipient. Various market and real estate notes also appear, including prices on dairy and a farm listing.
