Fire Ride In Sinking Of State Work Boat
State Attorney General William C. Sennett announced the dismissal of Alvin Wright of Erie following an inquiry into the sinking of the Pish Commission work boat Perca last December and its repair. The probe cites suspicions around the sinking, bid irregularities for repairs, and improper conduct by Wright. The DOJ investigation has not yet determined cause, whether deliberate or negligent, and will be sent to District Attorney Richard Brabender for court action.
