Funeral services were held Friday at 2 PM from Bracken-Heating chapel for Mrs Pauline Gillette, former Corry resident who died Tuesday in Chagrin Falls Ohio. Rev Gilbert L Boyd officiated. C F Franz J Splesman Leon Lindsley Glyde Cook F E York George Thomas served as pallbearers. Burial was in Pine Grove cemetery. Relatives and friends from Chagrin Falls Morgantown Charlestown Warren Union City attended. Also noted Dartmouth college enrollment with students from 47 states except Nevada.
A Sunday head on collision west of Union City between a Ford coupe driven by Lord and another car carrying Pitsbur en men left multiple injuries. Harry Bemis Ida Myranels Russell Lard Leon Barnes and others sustained serious to minor injuries, with hospital treatment reported for several passengers. Authorities noted an allision with damage to vehicles and possible cause under investigation as two local families were involved.
