Franklin L Alsbauch Jr sued Thomas B Beaulac of Franklin in a civil case. A jury awarded 500.80 to the plaintiff after Judge Lee A McCracken submitted the case for verdict. Fred D. Lewis 75 was found dead in his Elgin home after neighbors reported him missing. State Police and Deputy Coroner Bracken entered the residence and determined he had died earlier. He was born June 9 187% in Concord Township and had lived in the area most of his life. Surviving are three sons Fred Robert and Paul Lewis. two daughters Betty and Rita Lewis. four sisters Mrs Crick Mrs Darbrok Mrs Hazzard and Mrs Sayers. and a brother Harry Lewis. Funeral services and burial are planned at Bigin Cemetery after calling hours at Bracken Koating Funeral Home Monday.
