Big Reductions Expected in Cost of Living from Tariff
Washington reports that new tariff laws will cut clothing costs and improve quality for Americans. Estimates by Democratic analysts show potential annual savings of up to 60 dollars for a typical five-person family, with specifics across wool serge, worsted, overcoats, shawls, linen, woolen cloth, blankets, planners, underwear, carpets, tapestries, and dress goods. Retail price drops are expected by next spring, though some items like shoes may not become cheaper soon.
