Don’t Buy Drinks For Youths Warns Public Defender
ERIE public defender Dana Sherwood Jones on a murder case weekend urged that the main lesson from the Roland Triplett killing is not to give drinks to kids. The 51 year old victim was slain May 20th and the 14 or older suspect Gary A. Olszewski faces possible adult charges and a death or life sentence if convicted. A mental fitness exam may delay a June 6 hearing. A second man, Raymond Beegle, 43, faces a separate charge for corrupting the morals of a minor. The night of the murder involved an unidentified man who bought beer for the youths.
