Boy Killed Jumping From Moving Truck Near Venango
Meadville May 31 A 9 year old boy, son of Mr and Mrs H Perry of Richmond township, died after leaping from a moving truck near Woodcock. He died at Cambridge Springs Mullen hospital. The driver did not stop and the boy jumped. A bystander, Clinton Bloss, was injured trying to grab him. Deputies investigated. the boy leaves two brothers.

Dubois Man Held In Robbery Case
Thomas Steadymyer, 38, colored, is jailed in Franklin facing felonious assault charges after a knife attack Monday morning at the home of Joseph Felder, 20, colored, in East Atlante Avenue left Felder with serious wounds. Steadymyer, from Rye Harbor, N. J., was captured near the P RR trek by Captain Thomas Sherwood and Detective Martin Hagin.

Boy Hurt Falling From Barn Loft Near Connell Lake
Five year old Robert Miller, son of Mr and Mrs D W Miller, fell from a hayloft at the Jeff Lozier farm south of Connell Lake. He was rushed to Spencer Hospital in critical condition with possible skull fractures. Mrs Beit Roberts of Erie, formerly a Corry resident, was contacted Tuesday.
