PRR Worker Wins Suit For Damages In Ohio Test Case
A federal court jury ordered the Pennsylvania Railroad to pay 14 375 damages to Elmer R. Jamison of Girard Ohio. Jamison 48 sought 50 000 after a June 4 1948 accident in Youngstown Ohio when tested air brakes on a nine car train. He suffered a fractured arm a dislocated elbow and a shoulder injury.
