Memorial Observance Yesterday in Corry

The Stinnel Memorial Observance held in Corry yesterday drew a large turnout including the Grand Army Memorial and many local organizations. Col. T. B. Brown presided as martial wore up with the organizing committee. services opened with prayer by the Post Chaplain and brief addresses by J. WIlson, Capt. Baker, and G. C. King.

Remains of Miss King Recovered After Lake Tragedy

The body of Ming Therein King, a young woman, was recovered Sunday afternoon from a lake after a long search by men from Union City. Water depths were around twenty five feet at the recovery site. LaVerne King, her father, returned home after assisting in the search and a funeral is planned at the Union City Presbyterian church Wednesday hour determined by church officials.
