A 16 year old sophomore John Cook from South Side High School Oil City admitted stealing motion pictures from the railroad station. Films bore tags to Tidioute Endeavor theaters. He faced a federal judge in Pittsburgh and was placed on two years probation. Meanwhile 161 graduates received diplomas at the State Teachers College Edinboro commencement.
