Middletown May 26 Miss Mary Harriman wed Charles Cary Rumsey at St Johns Episcopal Church Arden. Attendees were Harriman family and a few Rumsey relatives. The Rev J Holmes McGuinness officiated, decorations featured rhododendrons and amber malten stems, and a wedding breakfast followed at the Harriman mansion.
Miss Mary Klump and John McGovern were found dying in a Philadelphia rooming house on Vite Street. He said no higher official ordered sugar adulteration and that he acted on his own initiative to retain his job, noting Wall Street knew of the activities but lacking direct evidence.
