Camiel and Egidio Cerilli, amid political ties and federal charges. The bill aims to fund operations via reduced pay.
The Associated Press quotes a PennDOT official saying the state would have patched potholes in Corry but the city could skip it, and that the state will not reimburse the city for work done on state roads. The matter, tied to a $3,585 cost, may embarrass the new transportation secretary William Sherlock who is to visit Corry. Officials urge action over process.

A 16 year old from Corry and a younger boy attempted a burglary at Miss Helen Johnson's home on Essex Street. They broke a window, entered, and demanded car keys while Miss Johnson was present. She was bound with a cloth and the youths fled, leaving blood on her nightgown. Police later captured the older suspect, already known to authorities, and he was transferred to juvenile detention.
