Proxmire Rejects Secret Pentagon Bomber Reply
Sen. William Proxmire returned unopened the Pentagon's classified reply to his questions about a new manned bomber. He sought an unclassified version for public use after pressing Melvin Laird on the program. Proxmire plans June hearings on military spending and national priorities.
