Freed Slayer Flees Erie After Not Guilty Verdict
Anthony Wierzorkowski known as Tony Dempsey fled Erie after a county court verdict found him not guilty of murdering Mary Sobuski. Neighbors spotted him leaving town with others claiming to carry guns. District Attorney Otto Herbst said no new charges or evidence yet, and no arrest is planned at this time.
