Board Retains Same Tax Levy Despite Budget Slashes

Textbook and instruction supply cuts reduced the instruction department from 96000 to 95690, with only a 3600 addition for a new band. Maintenance costs fell sharply, and optimism over future savings accompanies a smaller capital outlay. The debt service remains 10000, and insurance costs rise to 5000. The finance committee approved the draft for 1980-81.
