City to reassess property values for equity in 1980
J B Pultersom a former Corry mayor urged the City Council to pursue a complete readjustment of city property valuations at the upcoming triennial assessment in 1980. He argued current valuations overstate tax burden on the school district while offering few benefits and noted several inequities in assessed values across neighborhoods. The matter was referred to Superintendent Lay and others for thorough study before further action.
