Hospital needs and appeal questions and answers
The Q and A discuss funding for a Corry Memorial Hospital Long Term Care addition. If the $550,000 fund drive is not subscribed the project must be reduced to fit the subscription and the government would cover only one third of a smaller project from the $961,607 provisional allocation. Nursing care will rely mainly on nursing aides with about twenty aides planned after April 1997. The current building is 33,429 square feet and the addition adds 26,600 square feet, about 80 percent more space.
