Alfred Brown of Grove Street reported his Ford coupe stolen last night from in front of the Odd Fellows Hall near North Center Street between 7 30 and 10 30 o clock. Police were notified and nearby towns asked to assist in searching for the vehicle which bears Pennsylvania tag 700020 and engine number 11017200 with red wheel discs.

United Press reports a severe wind and hail storm swept a 20 mile stretch in Maryland damaging about thirty percent of wheat crops. The storm felled fruit trees stripped gardens and caused heavy property losses across the area.
