Three local youths from Corry and Spartansburg head to Job Corps centers in Texas and Utah after guidance counselor intervention. Rodney Ricketts 17 leaves today for Clearfield Utah, while two others go to San Marcos Texas. local office and Erie state contacts provided.

U.S. War Actions In Laos Draw Senate Testimony

Secretary Laird told the Senate Foreign Relations Committee that a small number of American troops have briefly entered Laos in protective reaction actions and might again, but no large scale operations are planned. He said advisers sometimes accompany South Vietnamese troops, and noted U.S. force limits near Cambodia and Laos.
