Child's Conservation League closes year in social meeting
The Child's Conservation League held its year end gathering at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Heerlein in North Dexter. Mrs. Victor Orn led entertainment with a baby picture guessing contest and other stunts. Mis. Albert Young and Mrs. J. Roscoe Dearing won. Mrs. W. H. Howard shared travel tales from Bermuda Islands. A summer picnic was planned with Mrs. C. M. Howard at Windley Lake. The group will resume activities in October. Salad rolls strawberry shortcake and coffee were served to fourteen members.
