Former Erie athlete Douglas Gott jailed for tavern murder
Douglas Gott, 27, a former Erie school athlete, was sentenced to one to 20 years for killing Rudolph Longo, 27, owner of Wickliffe tavern, after discovering Longo with Gott’s wife Joan Goit, 23. The case arose from a basement stabbing at the tavern last year. Commissioner bids for county health cars were opened. Manufacturer's Truck Leasing offered 92 per car monthly, Erie Car and Truck Rental 92.50. action postponed for specification review.
