Milk dealers plan to press council for full explanation of the new Health Code license requirement for all milk deliveries. Discussion likely on street railway and power franchise, plus routine business and public improvements underway.
A rubbish fire in the coal and yard area of the Barlow Hardware Co on Kant Washington street spread beyond control briefly. Fire crews kept water on the blaze for about twenty minutes and damage remained light despite threatening several warehouses and sheds.
District Attorney Walle visited Corry on Saturday and Sunday to push the Seamans inquiry. An inquest will continue before Alderman Barker on Wednesday. A foreigner involved left town. Leonard Dasqualli was sent for more details. Mrs. Fred Wheeler died Saturday afternoon. funeral at Lemon Street residence and burial in Pine Grove Cemetery.

Meadville May 18 Special to the Journal Thomas Tigher 21 of Fairview township near Cochranton accidentally shot himself with a 82 caliber rifle while going to a field to shoot a woodchuck. His body was found hours later with a bullet hole in the forehead. Coroner Byham ruled accidental death amid local rumors. Weather generally fair tonight and Tuesday.
