Changes in write-in rules for primary nominations

State Representative R Budd Dwyer notes updated write-in requirements for the upcoming primary. A candidate must match the petition signers needed for the office: ten signatures for township borough and district justice posts, and one hundred for city and county offices. The law aims to prevent runoffs when multiple write-ins occur.
