Erie May 17 a jury freed 4 year old Mrs Bertha Wagner in a larceny trial after 15 minutes deliberation. The defendant was accused by her brother Joe Roger of stealing about $1,100 from his underwear stash found under a pillow. The courtroom scene showed a jubilant Mrs Wagner greeting jurors as she left with her husband Jacob.
Miss Norrine Holt, daughter of Mrs Hallie Holt, chosen as County Dairy Queen at a Columbus Grange meeting run by Warren county granges. She advances to the district Dairy Queen contest in June, with sponsors including Akeley Grange.
