Youth Recovering After Electrical Burn Incident
Union Day at Curugolite Lake reports a youth named Lo Whichte injured by a kite wire accident while flying a kite. He was taken home from City hospital by his father Win A McGuire and is steadily recovering under care of Dr A Shawood and Mrs Seale.

Death Claims Former Corry Resident Mig Kath Daye
Worde received from Warren at noon today of the death in that city of Mig Kath Jane Daye aged 73. She died this morning at the home of her daughter in law Mrs Alice Day. She was born in Calisraugus New York and long lived in Corry where she had many friends. Survived by a sister Mrs Timma Burdick of Aliquippa Pa and by two grandchildren. The body has been taken to the Gibson Minerel Parlors in Warren and religious services will be held in the East Branch Church Sunday with interment in East Branch cemetery.

Funeral Services for Mrs Alice Perkins
Funeral services for Mrs. Alice Perkins widow of Abe L. Perkins were held at 10 oclock from the Chapel of Alexander. Mrs. Perkins died in Rochester N Y where she had been visiting her daughter. Rev Roger Cressey officiated with bearers Ray and Raleigh Peviting and Leo and James Vanbyesur. Interment followed at David Castle cemetery in Columbus. Clyde Tryin Miss Florence Ipwin and Paul Lawson attended the gathering at Mrs Gertrude Tryin’s home in Waterford.

Iremen Is Hurt in Fall In Erie Blast Fire
A GE department member Raymbna Dug nan, 35, was seriously injured when he was hurled 16 feet from a burning Britton Coal Co plant in Wellsylvania, Pa. He suffered a deep cut and possible eye injury as fire officials investigate the blaze cause. The incident followed a separate fall from a telephone pole injuring another worker and a third man losing sight during an unrelated event.
