A Higilan city commission meeting set for tonight faces delays as a Washington Street paying ordinance and other measures await a 30 day introduction. The $9000 bond issue and hiring of two assistants are under review as the appointment of a temporary officer to aid the police during summer months is considered. Rev Woodin delivered one of the finest sermons to the Knights of Clarence Commandery gathered at Columbus Methodist Church on Ascension Sunday. Members from Corry attended with their ladies. Emminent Commander Charles Simpson hosted visiting Knights and their ladies at the Masonic home in Columbus where refreshments followed before the Corry party returned home.
