Harrisburg May 14 Governor Brumbaugh summoned heads of all state departments to a private conference and urged them to work for the nomination of J. Denny O’Neil as Republican candidate for governor. For the first time police and constabulary officers were included in the gubernatorial outreach.
Over one hundred couples attended a dance at the State Armory to aid the Grand and Turnbuckie Baseball train. Moevenger's orchestra supplied music for dancing from dusk to 1 o'clock as the event ended with a general happy time for all. The arrangement committee included AO, Annuded Wialloos Cogn well, William Afott, Mountain, and Bred Weaver.
