Corry Area Education Association hosts year end dinner
More than 100 members and guests attended a 6 pm dinner at the Corry Moose Lodge closing the 1969-70 school year. Retiring teachers Mrs. Doris Bailey and Miss Ruth Dahlstrand received gifts for 71 years combined service. Assemblyman R Budd Dwyer spoke on education legislation. Meetings resume in September with a fall picnic.

Sharers Enjoy Jamaica Week Trip From Pittsburgh
Mr and Mrs Elmer Sharer of 429 Marion Street returned from a week in Jamaica. They stayed at Playboy Club Hotel Ohcho Rios Ocho Rios and traveled via Greater Pittsburgh Airport to Montego Bay.
