Surviving are his widow Mrs Paul ie Schwab and four children Charles M Schwab Edward H of Ebensburg Gertrudes wife of David Barty Johnstown and Mary who is Sister Cecelia of Seton Hill Grevristing.

Lancaster May 13 three children and a nurse maid died from gas in a founding scene at the Stathopolis home. The victims were William and August Stathopolis two and eight months old, children of William Stathopolis, and Robert Surgatis, son of Nicholas Burganis, Chester, and Helen Burganis a 22 year old colored nurse of Chester. Police traced fumes through the street and forced entry after neighbors reported the smell.
A dramatic hold up occurred in Middletown as two desperados robbed a local bank of seven hundred dollars. Police pursue suspects after the bold daytime crime.
The annual meeting at Miss Ashton's home named new officers for the Children’s Aid Society. Miss Alice Naegle and Mrs Edward S Lindsley addressed members on outreach to county officials and aiding crippled children. Officers elected include President Mrs Austin, First Vice President Roy art Patterson, Vice President TM Wright, Secretary Mrs G Stewart, Assistant Secretary O W Bracken, and Mrs William Myers.
J J Desmond addressed the Rotary Club where his talk on salesmanship was the feature of the session. The meeting at Rotary Were Phoenix drew many members and paid all expenses including 352 dollars to the Corry Choral Society with a small balance remaining. The club discussed the upcoming international convention in Toronto with strong interest in a large Corry Rotary attendance.
Lieutenant Colonel B Long, once aide to General Brumbaugh, died yesterday at his home after a long illness. A prominent figure in Elk county social life, he commanded Company H of the 6th Pennsylvania National Guard and served in the Half of Goyard Brumbaugh era.
Police urged all motorists to heed traffic rules to reduce accidents in the city. Officers announced enforcement at intersections and emphasized pedestrians and drivers must observe the "clear right of way" for safer travel.
