Congressman Vigorito welcomed President Nixon's plan to curb obscene material and ads to minors, aligning closely with his H. R. 5171. The bill would regulate interstate commerce and mailings of harmful content to youths, building on a New York statute upheld by the Supreme Court. The White House proposal mirrors the measure's aims and strengthens enforcement options against distribution to minors.
