Police Continue Search For Abducted Child
Police in this district continued their search for clues in the abduction of Jacqueline Masters, five year old daughter of Mrs. Jose Masters. Mrs. Jane Ware of Smethport, the child’s great grandmother, told police that Mrs. Masters, with three men, left her home with the child. The custody dispute began in Omaha and moved through Pennsylvania courts where temporary custody was granted before the child was taken to her grandmother’s home in Smethport after the divorce last year.
