Concord Township Eighth Grade Commencement

Twenty students graduated from Concord community schools at eighth grade commencement held at McCray church last evening. Superintendent Willis Pratt spoke and presented diplomas to graduates from Lindsey Lovells Hoffatt Concord Ridge and Hemlock schools. Bennett's orchestra provided music while readings numbers and two short plays finished the program. Olive Lee was valedictorian Theodore Savako was salutatorian. Hospital Tag Day Planned On Saturday

Girl Scouts will assist members of the Laces Auxiliary of Corry Hospital in the annual Tag Day on the streets of the city. Proceeds fund refrigeration equipment for the hospital kitchen.
