German Aerial Raid Heightens Fear Across British Coast Towns

An unfiltered report describes two German Zeppelins and planes raining bombs over towns within forty miles of London. Bombs fell near St Mary’s Hospital and in Southwind, Westcliff, and Lolish, damaging several buildings. The raid spurred alarm and influenced political talk as Italy’s response loomed. Election interest rose for the Board of Commerce and Industry, with Mrs. Walter Clough a notable candidate for president and others named for director roles. A key meeting of Democrats from Rowfd is set for tomorrow to discuss by-laws and election logistics.

Six Drownings Reported at Cleveland Harbor

United Press dispatch from Cleveland reports six people drowned after a vessel wrecked off the 70th breakwater. The Junior was driven ashore and wrecked by heavy surf. Several Italian papers also note drownings. Two rescued remained in serious condition.

Supreme Court Affirms Erie County Decisions

In Philadelphia on May 10 the Supreme Court announced decisions from Erie County cases. Judgment affirmed in Chert v Hammermill Paper Co. and in the Water Works commissioners case. Phillips et al versus Erie County Electric Co. also affirmed. The court upheld four exsiw end of the four exsiw rulings from Byle county court with Judges Walling and Henson.

She was seen strolling toward Clymer around 1 pm and near Hat village around 8 pm, but no trace since. About ten years ago she wandered away similarly and was found after several days. She is about fifty and has a large family.

Queenstown Burials For Lusitania Victims In Processions

Captain Turner's statement reports mass funerals in Queenstown for the Lusitania disaster victims. Four hundred bodies were recovered and laid to rest in the Vite churchyard amid three processions. Coffins bore the British flag as thousands lined the route from morgue to the graveyard in a solemn citywide observance.
