Corry School Board backs superintendent after student clash
An Emerson High section recounts a dispute as five juniors confronted Superintendent Cross over an incident with Mr Carrier on May 8. Cross testified about guiding Carrier to the study hall and a brief push occurred in the corridor. The board unanimously sustained Cross, rebuked the students, and upheld discipline while not finding evidence of wide organized disobedience. The meeting also approved a tax levy of 18 mills and authorized $20,000 in bonds for a new Concord school building addition.
