Rev Edward H Van Houten has resigned as priest in Maple Shade and becomes rector of Immanuel Episcopal Church in Girard Penns Grove area. A Nashotah College graduate and former St Johns East Linwood leader, he will begin duties May 1 after ordination in 1939 and prior work with New Jersey Bell. He did missionary work among Tennessee mountaineers during seminary studies and held the post at the Church of the Merciful Saviour in Perrysville.

Lieut. Col. Lyle A. Clough a Corry High School, class of 1915, officer returns to the Chemical Warfare Service after commanding an Army quartermaster truck regiment.
