Local Army Returnee Ronnie Lloyd Back at Fort Leonard Wood
Ronald Lloyd son of Mr and Mrs Jack Lloyd of Mead Avenue has returned to duties with the U S Army at Fort Leonard Wood Missouri. He works in a clerical role in the orderly room under an on the job training program. Also in town were Staff Sgt and Mrs Ernest Vanssens and their daughter Tracy from Colorado Springs. They were met by Joyce parents in Cleveland and plan to move to California then Hawaii where Ernie will be stationed for three years. Tracy turns four on May 12 and Joyce celebrates May 15.

The Corry Area Bible Club rally was held Sunday at the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church. Rev. Roger Coon and wife and daughters Karen and Tammy spoke and sang in an African dialect after returning from Africa. Jeff and Julie Sperry recited Scripture. Rev. Dolby and his choir sang. Donna Stevenson performed. Winners in the sword drill were Shelly Miller Kay Miller and Tina Barbalaci. The Beaverdam group earned the trophy for most attendees. Alan Moravek of Warren served as master of ceremonies.
